Carnaval
El carnaval de Metaxourgeio celebró su sexta edición el 15 de febrero de 2015. Una fiesta en la calle similar a la Fiesta del color. Ritmos africanos, baile, tambores, disfraces, confeti y gente de todas las edades.
El ambiente se respira alegre, la gente no para de bailar y el vino (κρασι)o, ya sea tinto (κοκκινο κρασι)
o blanco (λευκό κρασί) es la bebida favorita para celebrar este día.
La gente del barrio de Metaxourgeio junto a gente de todos los puntos de la ciudad se reúnen para celebrar el Carnaval cada año en el mes de febrero.
